The product in detail
The Bissell Big Green BG10 combines a motorized DirtLifter brush and two separate motors for washing and suction. Separate tanks keep clean solution apart from wastewater. Forward and reverse cleaning and an adjustable folding handle support a maintenance routine for extraction-compatible carpet.
Listed specifications
Values come from the supplier documentation consulted. Performance depends on conditions and configuration. The supplied reference’s container or nameplate and manual determine its use.
| Specification | Listed value or configuration |
|---|---|
| Solution tank | 1.75 gal (6.7 L) |
| Recovery tank | 1.75 gal (6.7 L) |
Surfaces and compatibility
For carpets and textiles whose fibres, backing and installation permit spray extraction. An approved upholstery or stair tool may extend the applications when suitable for both machine and textile.
The tanks are listed at 6.7 L each and the cord at 25 ft. The page compares BG10 with 86T3, but confirm the exact reference and attachments before buying parts.
Preparation and use
- Dry vacuum, identify stains and clear the area. Test colourfastness.
- Inspect the cord, seals, hoses, filters and tank levels.
- Select detergent, temperature and attachments according to the textile, chemical and machine instructions.
- Use consistent passes. Avoid unnecessary rewetting and perform the specified recovery passes.
- Monitor tank level and foam during operation. Allow complete drying before returning the area to use.
Care and storage
After use, empty and rinse tanks, clean jets and remove fibres from the head. Flush the circuit as instructed, inspect seals and dry components as prescribed before storage. Unplug before maintenance.
Limits and things to check
Higher pressure alone does not guarantee better cleaning: recovery, flow, textile and technique also matter. Weak suction may result from a full tank, misplaced seal or blocked hose. Drying time cannot be guaranteed by the model alone.
Equipment, accessories and options
The supplier lists a 9 ft hose and 6 in spot tool as optional. The associated set has reference B30G3.
Practical questions
How do I check this reference suits my floor?
Identify flooring, finish and task, then check both product and flooring instructions. A hidden-area test should reproduce full application and drying. For equipment, also check tools or pads, dimensions and power supply.
Are all accessories and consumables included?

What information is still needed before purchasing?
Confirm voltage, weight, package contents and warranty applicable to your use.
Why might results differ from the listed output?
Figures describe different things: working path, theoretical or practical output, power and runtime by mode. Filling, emptying, charging, obstacles, consumable condition and technique influence actual work completed.
