Surfaces and compatibility

For removing old maintenance finish from compatible flooring. Identify the film, underlying floor and replacement finish system before starting.

The SDS describes a corrosive product restricted to industrial, institutional and food plant use. The range name does not establish environmental certification or absence of hazard.

Preparation and use

Assign this work to trained staff. Confirm the substrate and finish are compatible. Follow the instructions for dose, dwell time, recovery and preparation before refinishing.

  1. Isolate a small area and remove loose debris. Protect baseboards and neighbouring materials.
  2. Read the label and SDS before measuring the prescribed dilution.
  3. Test finish removal. Select the pad and machine permitted for the substrate.
  4. Observe contact time; agitate and recover dissolved finish before it dries.
  5. Rinse and prepare the substrate according to both stripper and finish instructions. Check for residue before refinishing.

Follow the supplied reference’s label and SDS, plus flooring and machine instructions. Do not mix products. The method guidance below complements manuals and does not set a dilution or contact time missing from them.

Care and storage

Clean pads, squeegees and recovery circuits promptly as instructed. Stripper residue can interfere with the new finish. Plan recovery and disposal of all used solution.

Limits and things to check

This process removes a film and changes the surface appearance. It is not routine cleaning. Do not assume floor stripper can remove wood varnish or industrial resin.

Equipment, accessories and options

The job requires an application system, permitted pads and a recovery method compatible with the stripper.

Practical questions

How do I check this reference suits my floor?

Identify flooring, finish and task, then check both product and flooring instructions. A hidden-area test should reproduce full application and drying. For equipment, also check tools or pads, dimensions and power supply.

Are all accessories and consumables included?

The job requires an application system, permitted pads and a recovery method compatible with the stripper.

What information is still needed before purchasing?

Confirm dilution ratio, contact time, required rinses and compatibility with the replacement finish for the job.
