Check both the machine instructions and the flooring instructions. Start dry on moisture-sensitive floors or if you do not know the finish.
Which brush works if I have carpets and hardwood?
Look for a soft head for wood and a head suited to the carpet fibre. Some delicate carpets require you to turn off the rotating brush.
